Support a School Meal Initiative

In December 2024, we served hot meals to 170 individuals (120 students and 50 teachers and parents) at AfCIS. As we move into 2025, we aim to sustain and expand this initiative, providing daily hot meals to our students.

The Need

Many of our students, particularly orphans and children from low-income households, come to school without food. This affects their learning outcomes, growth, and overall well-being. Recognizing this critical need of our community, we are committed to creating a supportive and nourishing learning environment where every child can succeed.

How to Get Involved

  1. Sponsor Food Supplies: Essential items like rice, maize, and beans are needed. For example, a 50kg bag of rice costing $100 can feed 120 children for five days.
  2. Donate: Contribute one-time or recurring funds to support the school meal program.
  3. Volunteer: Offer your time and skills remotely or on-site to improve our initiatives.
